it's spring now and we'll only be in gamleby for a few more weeks.
next we go to italy and paris and maybe some other places before moving back to göteborg.
i start at HFF in the fall, and i'm so glad i made it. it feels so good.

we took a walk one morning in the late fall when it was starting to feel more like winter.
it was very early. the light was pink, the grass looked dusty from frost, it was so cold my fingers hurt.
i remember thinking how beautiful it was even though i just wanted to be somewhere else.
an hour later thick fog came in from the direction of the sea and we couldn't see anything anymore.

right now it is snowing outside like it has been for days and everything is quiet, pretty, monochrome.
i am thinking about nice fall days spent picking chanterelles when it was still warm enough to be out in the woods without a parka.

the best moment of my trip to paris was brunch with isabelle and marion.
we ate so much good food and talked for hours, until it started to get dark out.
i got so much inspiration and support and warmth from those lovely ladies.
i feel lucky to have them as friends, and already look forward to seeing them again.

we were back in göteborg for the weekend, and every day was freezing but sunny.
so nice to be in the city again - drinking good coffee, seeing friends, feeling nostalgic.

here in reykjavík i am already seeing signs of autumn.
i found red and gold leaves at the cemetery, and the summer flowers are fading.
it still does not get dark yet but in the middle of the night the twilight is deeper.
yesterday the sun was out but it was cold - the wind was sharp, from the north.
i went out for a walk, wore my leather boots and kept my hands in my pockets.
i have spent june and july mostly in my parka, but this felt different, the beginning of a new season.
ten more days and we will be back in sweden, and hopefully we will find a little summer left there.
